Peace Groups Collaborate to Honor the Dead when the Casualties Reach 2,500.
Veterans for Peace, Indianapolis Peace and Justice Center and Hoosiers For Peace join forces to exhibit one American Flag for each soldier who has lost his/her life in the war in Iraq. Organizers predict that this exhibit will be installed at during the first half of June (either the first or second Saturday). Date and location to be announced. Win Without War Launches Campaign to Call for War Debate
U.S. Representative Julia Carson supports proposal
 
House Resolution 543 that calls for an immediate seventeen-hour debate where all alternatives to the Bush war are allowed onto the floor for consideration and vote is being promoted by Indiana Congressional Representative Julia Carson. A national grassroots organization called Win Without War has launched a campaign to support congressional debate. Pasta for Peace, a state-wide fundraising event on June 25 from 1 to 4 p.m. will bring together people from all over Indiana to talk about peace and share ideas in the beautiful and peaceful setting of The Peace and Learning Center in Eagle Creek Park.
